<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gasifying waste capable of recovering valuable metals such as aluminum in a favorable un-oxidized state even when supplying waste of a high calorific value with a hygroscopic lower calorific value of 2000-8000kcal/kg to a fluidized bed of a fluidized bed gasifying furnace when gasifying the waste in the fluidized bed gasifying furnace. <P>SOLUTION: The waste with a hygroscopic lower calorific value of 2000-8000kcal/kg is supplied to the fluidized bed of the fluidized bed gasifying furnace. Fluidized bed fluidized gas containing oxygen and inert gas (for example, one type or more of steam, nitrogen, argon or helium) is supplied to the fluidized bed so as to satisfy 40-220Nm<SP>3</SP>in oxygen quantity and 450-3300Nm<SP>3</SP>in inert gas quantity per ton of the waste. The waste is gasified by controlling a temperature of the fluidized bed at 450-600°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
