<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute plasma agent which improves the pH stability of a conventional substitute plasma agent using 200,000 HES (hydroxyethylstarch having a weight-average mol. wt. of 200,000) after thermally sterilized, and have no significant decrease in pH, even when thermally sterilized at a temperature of≥110°C for≥10 min and further even when charged in a plastic bag having high oxygen permeability and then thermally sterilized. <P>SOLUTION: This substitute plasma agent containing hydroxyethylstarch having a weight-average mol. wt. of 150,000 to 300,000 and only sodium ion and chloride ion as electrolytes is characterized by further containing citrate ion as a pH-adjusting agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
