<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller for quickly updating and displaying processing results based on a request from a monitor control terminal on the monitor control terminal even when it is a complicate picture. <P>SOLUTION: This programmable controller 10 executes a sequence program based on a monitor control request program described in JAVA(R) language transmitted from a monitor control terminal 20, and returns the execution result to the monitor control terminal 20.
