<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processor for selecting an optimum interpolation processing on the basis of a clear criterion to thereby enhance the image quality of an image subjected to a pseudo gradation processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image signal processor is provided with: a summating means 101 for receiving a pseudo gradation amplitude 100 produced at the pseudo gradation processing and summating a prescribed value thereto; and a comparison means 9 for comparing a value of a luminance difference received from a luminance difference detection means 6 with a value received from the summating means 101, and controls switching means 8, 10 so that an interpolation filter suitable for a comparison result of comparison means 7, 9 is selected from the interpolation filters 2, 3, 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
