<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflector capable of preventing a serious accident such as rear-end collision by enabling reflected light to get into the eyes of an occupant of a driver's seat of a large-sized car as well as a small-sized car. <P>SOLUTION: A reflection angle area of the reflector 3 making a driver of a following vehicle visually recognize the existence of a precedent vehicle by reflecting the light from a headlight of the following vehicle such as an automobile, a motorcycle and a bicycle is divided into a low angle reflection area P1 and a high angle reflection area P2. By this means, as the light reflected in the high angle reflection area P2 can be visually recognized at the driver's seat of the large-sized car 11, the accident such as the rear-end collision by the large-sized car 11 can be prevented. Accordingly the reflected light can be visually recognized irrespective of the size of the following vehicle (the height of the driver's seat), and especially the rear-end collision by the large-sized car with the driver's seat at a high position can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
