PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a biaxially stretched polyamide film in a high operation efficiency and economically. SOLUTION: The simultaneously biaxially stretched polyamide film is manufactured by simultaneously stretching the end part of an unstretched polyamide sheet, while holding it with clips of a flat type simultaneous biaxially stretching machine, in the longitudinal and transverse directions. In manufacturing the polyamide sheet, rubber is employed as material for at least one of the contact faces the sheet end part of which is directly held with a pair of upper and lower clips, while the rubber face is provided with a rotation stopper to prevent the rotation of the rubber face by a sheet stretching stress, to obtain an actual holding force of the rubber face of 400 N or more.
