PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide squeezing rollers which can easily treat materials like waste water scum contained with much of waste water sludge and oil-component in a simple manner with good dewatering efficiency and a dewatering method utilizing the squeezing rollers and an apparatus for the same. SOLUTION: Sponge-like polymer gels which have high water absorbing properties, are suitably soft and have elasticity are used for the squeezing rollers. Two pieces thereof are arranged parallel to come into contact with each other and an object to be dewatered is held between the two rollers and is squeezed and dewatered by rotating the rollers.
