RICE WASHING AND COOKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice washing and cooking apparatus where a rice washing tub or a rice storage is prevented from being heated during waiting in the case of rice cooking processing by simple constitution. SOLUTION: The rice washing and cooking apparatus is provided with: the rice storage on the upper part of a supporting frame having a support extending upward; the rice washing tub under the rice storage; a rice cooking processing part at the lower part of the supporting flame; and a cool air feeding mechanism which sucks external air and feeding it to the rice washing tub and the rice storage as cooled air. The cool air feeding mechanism can consists of either or both of a rice washing tub cooling fan and a rice storage cooling fan. It is desirable that the support of the supporting frame consists of a cylindrical member, that an air introduction port is formed at its lower part, and that an introduction air passage is formed of the internal space of the support. It is desirable that the cool air feeding mechanism is controlled so as to start its driving in synchronization with the start of rice cooking processing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
