A drive for sliding door has an electromotor in a housing, a control unit for the electromotor during opening and closing of the sliding door and a reduction gear coupled with the electromotor. The electromotor (10), the reduction gear (12) and the control unit (14) are mounted on a common carrier (8), which with the electromotor, the reduction gear (12) and control unit (14) can be inserted into the interior of the housing (4) through a sealable assembly opening and then fixed in place inside the housing. An independent claim is also included for a sliding door with a drive. |
