PURPOSE: A radiographic apparatus suitable for mammography and radiographic method thereof are provided to acquire easily a three-dimensional image of a target and three-dimensional information from the target by improving a structure of the radiographic apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A radiographic apparatus includes a radiation generation unit(11), a compression plate(12), a moving unit(22), a detection unit(14), and a control unit. The compression plate is used for compressing a target. The moving unit is used for moving the compression plate. The detection unit is used for detecting the radiation which is generated from the radiation generation unit and is transmitted through the compression plate and the object. The control unit is used for executing the radiography by the radiation generation unit and the detection unit while compressing the object by the compression plate and moving the movement unit the compression plate.
