PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a motor fan to be provided in an electric vacuum cleaner etc. SOLUTION: An electric motor section M is provided with a stator 10 and a rotor 20. The stator 10 is provided with a stator core 11 and a stator coil 14. Inside the square frame-like stator core 11, a rotor through hole 12 is made, in which a pair of salient poles 13 are projectedly provided. The stator coil 14 is turned around the salient poles. The rotor 20 has a rotary shaft 22 to which a fan 60 is connected. and is rotatably arranged in the rotor through hole 12. The electric motor section M is contained in an electric motor frame 40 made of iron metal. In the peripheral wall 56 of the electric motor frame 40, a core contact section 52 is formed. The core contact section 52 has internal faces 55a and 55b and contacts a pair of frame side sections 11b of the stator core 11, which are in parallel with each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
