PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control method for an efficient control software execution system by giving flexibility to an execution designating system for each task in an NC device to give a proper processing time to each task. SOLUTION: In the control method for a system executing a plurality of tasks, a scheduler for performing switching processing of different tasks is provided in a real-time operating system in a memory, and control software is executed on the basis of control of task switches by the scheduler. Values of counters provided for respective tasks are read in when a task switch occurs, and values of the counters and the value of the counter for a task whose execution is started next are recorded, and the current running time of a task which has lost the right of execution is calculated to calculate the total running time of the task, and the calculated total running time is recorded.
