PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit, bearing brake assembly, having improved workability in mounting to a suspension element. SOLUTION: Difference between a gap A between friction surfaces 52 of both brake friction surfaces 53 and a thickness B in a friction surface 34 of a brake rotor 35 is set to a certain level or lower. The inclined angleθis thus kept relatively small, even if the hub brake rotor 36 is inclined when carrying or mounting the unit bearing, brake assembly 1, preventing the brake rotor 35 from dropping off from a rotor guiding cylindrical part 39.
