PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper and lower end position adjusting tool for a rack post for positioning and adjusting the uppermost end and/or lowermost end of the rack post on a frame simultaneously on a plurality of posts in a manufacturing tool for a rack of an automatic high-rise warehouse. SOLUTION: This upper and lower end position adjusting tool for the rack post is composed of a contact member (e.g. a rectangular cylinder) held over the plurality of posts, between each top plate mounted to each uppermost end of the plurality of posts and an upper end positioning plate provided at the frame and/or held over the plurality of posts, between each base plate mounted to each lowermost end of the plurality of posts and a lower end positioning plate provided at the frame in the manufacturing tool for the rack of the automatic high-rise warehouse; and gage plates having a prescribed gage width and mounted to one face of the contact member, into the respective positions which abut on the top plate and/or base plate.
