PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the feeding accuracy of a recording medium and stably form an image of good quality. SOLUTION: A recording sheet dehydrating means 15 absorbing moisture from a recording sheet 20 is installed on the upstream side of a feeding belt 14 stretched across a drive roller 12 and a driven roller 13 in the feeding direction of the recording sheet 20. Since the moisture is removed from the recording sheet 20 by the recording sheet dehydrating means 15 and the moisture is electrostatically attracted on the feeding belt 14 to stably attract the recording sheet 20 onto the feeding belt 14, the feeding accuracy of the recording sheet 20 can be increased.
