PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bellows type lifter capable of raising and lowering a floor such as a pool floor, formed of a simple mechanism, having excellent operability, requiring less space with excellent compactness, and capable of providing stable long stroke, and a lift mechanism. SOLUTION: This bellows type lifter comprises a lift surface 1 supporting a lifted article, a supporting surface 2 allowed to abut on a floor surface, and a bellows-like bag body 3 installed between the lift surface and the supporting surface and expandable by fluid so as to raise the lift surface. Since the lifted article such as the floor supported on the lift surface can be raised by leading air or fluid such as water into the bellows-like bag body installed between the lift surface and the supporting surface to inflate the bag, the excellent operability can be provided with the simple mechanism, excellent compactness can be provided, and the stable long stroke can be provided.
