PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic container with a DLC film applied on an inner surface of the container in which the DLC film is tightly adhesive so as to withstand expansion/contraction of the container during the hot filling or the filling associated with heat sterilization, and at the same time, the DLC film has gas barrier property even after expansion/contraction during the filling. SOLUTION: In this DLC film-coated plastic container, a DLC film is applied on an inner surface of the plastic container. The DLC film comprises a first layer formed on the inner surface of the plastic container and having the composition containing large amount of hydrogen atoms and a second layer formed on the first layer, having the composition containing relatively smaller amount of hydrogen atoms than that of the first layer, and having the film thickness of at least 13 nm, and a boundary between the first layer and the second layer has gradient composition.
