摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot with a simple structure which keeps good operation performance without frequent maintenance. SOLUTION: An arm 2B is swivelably coupled to a tip end portion of an arm 2A swiveling about a main shaft 1. The main shaft 1 is composed of a hollow external rotating shaft 1A, and an internal rotating shaft 1B inserted in the external rotating shaft 1A. One end portion of the arm 2A is fixed to the external rotating shaft 1A. The arm 2A comprises: a driving gear 29A fixed to the internal rotating shaft 1B; an idle gear 29B engaged with the driving gear 29A; and a follower gear 29C engaged with the idle gear 29B, and one end portion of the arm 2B is fixed to the follower gear 29C. The arm 2B comprises: a static gear 30A fixed to a fixing shaft 32 becoming a rotation center of the follower gear 29C; an idle gear 30B engaged with the static gear 30A; and a follower gear 30C engaged with the idle gear 30B, and one end portion of an arm 2C is fixed to the follower gear 30C.
