PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot press apparatus which is simple in configuration over the entire part and does not require transfer of mirror finished surface plates while having double press mechanisms. SOLUTION: The hot press apparatus is equipped with first press section arranged on one straight line, a setting section, clamping and transferring means for clamping and transferring an article to be worked in a second press section, heating units of the respective press sections capable of rapidly and efficiently performing the treatment to cool the article in succession to heating, respective holding and pressing sections for holding and pressing the mirror finished surface plates, a supply section to mount the article to be subjected to the first press and an ejection section to mount the article already subjected to the second press.
