PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer for separating solids from liquid having such a shape as to prevent clogging of the strainer when the solids are separated from a liquid. SOLUTION: The strainer has grooves connecting holes with each other and an inclined strainer plate and thereby small fishes can be separated from seawater, the seawater can be circulated, temperature difference within a fish tank can be eliminated and further cooling is made possible.
