PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily correct deviation of a preset tube current of an X-ray tube due to shifting of a subject. SOLUTION: In this X-ray CT apparatus, during the performance of X-ray CT photographing, a dose unfixed scan section corresponding to the distance of shifting of the subject M is found by a dose unfixed section finding part 16, the presence/absence of a change in a preset tube current of an X-ray tube 1 corresponding to the direction of shifting of the subject M is found by a preset tube current change determination part 17, and according to both of the above finding results, the correspondence relationship between the preset tube current and the position on the body axis Z of the subject M is instantaneously shifted by a correspondence relationship shift part 18, whereby shifting of the correspondence relationship between the preset tube current and the position on the body axis Z of the subject M caused by deviation of the preset tube current can be quickly eliminated. Thus, the shifting of the subject causing deviation of the present tube current can be automatically detected and deviation of the preset tube current can be automatically corrected to surely and easily correct the deviation of the preset tube current.
