PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosis and a method for treatment of pancreatic carcinoma and to provide a composition useful for the same. SOLUTION: Polynucleotides coding for polypeptides (UKW) and UKW are specific to pancreatic tumor. The diagnosis of UKW is useful for diagnosis of pancreatic tumor.
