PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable seat accommodated to congestion degrees and body shapes, which takes into consideration both securement of users' standing position spacing when crowded and body shapes of users' types. SOLUTION: The adjustable seat accommodated to congestion degrees and body shapes is provided with a seat section 3, and movable arms 5, 8 for supporting the seat section 3. The seat section 3 can be set into a reference position, and the other positions wherein the seat section 3 moves ahead to expand a seat surface area including the seat section 3 with a decrease in seat surface height below the reference position.
