PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant thermoplastic polymer composition excellent in flame retardancy, molding processability and heat resistance, and to provide a molding made from the composition. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant thermoplastic polymer composition comprises 100 pts. mass of (a) an addition polymer-based block copolymer, 20-600 pts. mass of (b) an olefin resin and 50-300 pts. mass, based on a total 100 pts. mass of the components(a) and (b), of (c) a metal hydrate. In this composition, the component(a) has at least one polymer block A consisting mainly of aromatic vinyl compound units and at least one polymer block B consisting mainly of conjugated diene compound units, wherein at least the polymer block A portion represents a copolymer selected from a crosslinked block copolymer and a hydrogenated product thereof.
