PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of combustion failure due to change of an air-fuel ratio in combustion transfer from a pilot burner 3 to a main burner 4. SOLUTION: This combustion device comprises a pilot burner fuel supply passage 1, a main burner fuel supply passage 2, the pilot burner 3 connected to the pilot burner fuel supply passage 1, and the main burner 4 connected to the main burner fuel supply passage 2. A fuel supply quantity reducing means 5 to temporarily reduce fuel supply quantity is provided in the middle of the pilot burner fuel supply passage 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
