<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil in which an arbitrary face of a barrel is always brought to a nearly upper face in a state that the writing utensil is left on a horizontal plane. <P>SOLUTION: The writing utensil is so constituted that a writing body is provided inside the barrel and a rotation preventive protrusion is integrally formed or attached. The position of the center of gravity in the radial direction of the writing utensil against a perpendicular line from a contact point of the barrel and the horizontal plane is located to a position opposing to the protrusion against the perpendicular line in a state that the protrusion is brought into contact with the horizontal plane. Accordingly, the rotation preventive protrusion always becomes the nearly upper face in such a state that the writing utensil is left on the horizontal plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
