<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching device capable of making a safe switching operation. <P>SOLUTION: A supply-side terminal 3 connecting a supply-side wiring and a demand-side terminal 5 connecting a demand-side wiring are packaged inside a switching device body 1. A gap 9 is formed between the supply-side terminal 3 and the demand-side terminal 5. An electric conductive part is covered with an insulating cover 6 so as not to expose it outside. A lid 7a with a conductor 8 set in protrusion is mounted. The conductor 8 is inserted into a conductor-inserting hole 23 of the cover 6. A tip part of the conductor 8 is inserted into the gap 9. Both terminals 3, 5 are switched to a conductive state with each other. The lid 7b without any conductor 8 fitted is mounted.
