<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for securing excellent fixing by securing a more suitable job interval time without adhering to only just prior job. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device has pairs of fixing rotators, provided with a heat source on at least one and fixing recording sheets of different size, and a control means for controlling an ahead-and-behind after job time interval by regarding operation sporadically or continuously fixing the recording the sheets as the job.
