<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrapped rice ball-producing apparatus which can produce wrapped rice balls capable of being easily unwrapped without crushing the rice grains of the rice ball, entirely without losing the softness and flavor of the rice ball and further without transferring the water of the rice ball to laver. <P>SOLUTION: This packed rice ball-producing apparatus is characterized by comprising a hopper for receiving cooked rice, a volumetric feeder for volumetrically feeding the cooked rice released from the hopper, a molding means for molding the cooked rice fed with the volumetric feeder in a prescribed shape, a transfer means for transferring the cooked rice molded with the molding means into a wholly bendable and deformable hollow container having an opening, a reshaping means for reshaping the cooked rice ball packed in the container, and a wrapping means for wrapping the reshaped cooked rice together with the laver, wherein the reshaping means has a pressing device for pressing the cooked rice in the container from the outside of the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
