<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively reduce the amount of discharge of carbon dioxide accompanying with the use of sold fuel oil by improving a sales system (method) for the fuel oil. <P>SOLUTION: The sales system for carbon dioxide discharging rights-bearing fuel oil includes: a server including carbon dioxide discharging rights possessed by a fuel oil selling agency and a database storing transaction data accompanying with the sales of the fuel oil to a customer; a plurality of terminals of a sales outlet transmitting and receiving the transaction data to and from the server through a communication channel; where, the transaction data is accompanied by the sales of the carbon dioxide discharging rights-bearing fuel oil at the fuel oil selling agency or at the sales outlet concluded a sales contract with the fuel oil selling agency; and a processing means executing processing offsetting the carbon dioxide discharging rights data corresponding to the amount of sales in selling the fuel oil to the customer registered on the database of the carbon dioxide discharging rights data possessed by the fuel oil selling agency on the database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
