<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electrocardiograph capable of accurately transmitting the measuring result of a patient's electrocardiogram in a real-time manner. <P>SOLUTION: This portable electrocardiograph 10 includes an electrocardiogram measuring instrument 11a, an acceleration measuring instrument 11b, a power supply circuit 12, a battery 13, a CPU (central processing unit) 16c, a ROM 16b, a RAM 16a, a logic circuit 16d, a signal input interface 17a, a signal input terminal 18, a communication device 14, a communication interface 17b, ground planes GP1 and GP2 and a casing K. The communication device 14 and the communication interface 17b are separated from the other constitution parts by the ground plane GP1 and the electrocardiogram measuring instrument 11a is separated from the other constitution parts by the ground plane GP2.
