PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsular apparatus which can permanently prevent or block an apparatus from being reactivated.

SOLUTION: An operation blocking function for preventing the apparatus from being reactivated is provided. Activation is prevented when specified conditions are fulfilled. For example, the operating blocking function is operated by the attainment of the elapsed time of apparatus operation or a predetermined operation time, the decrease in the voltage level of a voltage source, the reception of an external command, even a timer and so on. Also, the blocking function can operate when the given number of images are scanned. Also, the blocking function operates as it is after replacing an electric battery.
