PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pulverizability in a manufacturing stage and fixing strength on a recording medium such as paper while retaining low temperature fixability, anti-offset properties, durability as a toner and preservation stability, and to provide a pulverized toner excellent in breaking and peeling strengths and excellent also in negative charge property and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the pulverized toner including a polymer, as a binder resin, obtained by bulk polymerization of a compound containing two or more isocyanate groups and a compound containing two or more active hydrogens capable of reacting with the isocyanate groups, having urethane or urea bonds in a backbone, and having a number average molecular weight (Mn) (expressed in terms of polystyrene) of a THF-soluble component of 1,500-20,000, the compound containing two or more active hydrogens consists essentially of a polyoxyalkylene bisphenol A ether compound and a polyester polyol containing a 4-20C linear alkylene chain as a component and having a number average molecular weight (Mn) (expressed in terms of polystyrene) of a THF-soluble component of 360-1,000.
