<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vehicle capable of eliminating the wasteful operation of a drive part for an extended standby. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a drive part 11, a generator 12, a storage battery 13, a transmission/reception part 14, a first control unit 15 that starts or stops the drive part 11 based on a signal exchanged with an operation control device by the transmission/reception part 14, and a second control unit 16 that controls a travel speed and a travel direction based on the signal exchanged with the operation control device by the transmission/reception part 14. Power supply paths 21 and 22 are provided in parallel between the storage battery 13 and the first control unit 15, and between the storage battery 13 and the second control unit 16.
