PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a biaxially stretched polyamide film suitable for food packaging, particularly for packaging moist food, or the like, having excellent slipperiness under high-humidity and high-temperature conditions, and having a low rate of change in dimension due to moisture absorption and a low rate of MD (moisture dimensional change) creep. SOLUTION: This biaxially stretched polyamide film is obtained by stretching at least 1.5-fold in both longitudinal and transverse directions a polyamide resin composition comprising a molecularly uniform dispersion of 0.05-1.0 pt.wt. of a laminar silicate, preferably a montmorillonite, in 100 pts.wt. of a polyamide resin, and containing 0.05-0.50 pt.wt. of inactive inorganic particles. The coefficient of static friction between untreated surfaces thereof at 20°C and 90% RH (relative humidity) is 1.0 or lower, and the coefficient of static friction between untreated surfaces thereof at 100°C is 1.5 or lower.
