PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal design panel which is free from fault or quality degradation even in a harsh environment such as temperature change. SOLUTION: A plurality of through holes 2 are perforated, in positions corresponding to an outline of a finished product, of a plane metal panel 1 used for a surface decorating material. A redundant section 1a is eliminated by a trimming process, leaving the through holes 2 perforated to the plane metal panel 1, to obtain a residual trimming die 1B, which is loaded to molds 10 and 11.
