METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PASTING POLARIZING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To paste a polarizing plate to a display panel so that no bubbles remain regarding the pasting method and apparatus of the polarizing plate. SOLUTION: The pasting apparatus of the polarizing plate comprises a first stage 14 for retaining a liquid crystal panel 12; a second stage 18 for retaining the polarizing plate 16 coated with an adhesive; a roller 20 for pressing the polarizing plate retained by the second stage to the display panel being retained by the first stage; a means 22 for relatively moving the first and second stages; and a means 26 for supplying liquid between the display panel and the polarizing plate. Liquid 28 is being supplied between the polarizing plate coated with an adhesive and the display panel, and at the same time the polarizing plate 16 is pressed to the liquid crystal panel 12 by the roller 20 for pasting the polarizing plate to the display panel.
