PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle optical connector that enables wide-band optical transmission by using a glass fiber, long-distance transmission by an increase in output and reduction of loss, and wiring and fixation to a high-temperature place by increasing the number of intermediate connectors and making them highly heat-resistant. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle optical connector is equipped with a light reception and emission module, an optical fiber, and a lens sleeve 12 which is interposed between the light reception and emission module and optical fiber and optically connects the light reception and emission module and optical fiber with each other. Then the optical fiber is a glass fiber 13 and at least a light emission module 11 in the light reception, and emission module is a light emitting element which has a small light emission angle.
