PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a document-confirming system capable of confirming whether or not a document is the original text at a low cost and easily, and to obtain a document-confirming method, an information registering apparatus and program, and a document-confirming apparatus, program and database.

SOLUTION: Characteristic information indicating characteristics of a disorder part incapable of being reproduced of a printed part in the document being an original text is obtained by a terminal device 20 as a registering characteristic vector and the registering characteristic vector is stored in a hard disk 18 through the Internet 60. The same information as the registered characteristic vector in a document to be made a confirming object for whether or not it is original text, is obtained as a calculated characteristic vector and the registered characteristic vector is read-out from the hard disk 18. The obtained calculated characteristic and the read-out registered characteristic vector are compared to each other and whether or not the document to be made the confirming object is the original text is confirmed based on the compared result.
