<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an actual operating state of a fuel supply valve fitted to a fuel supply system supplying fuel to a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 20 keeps a given table or the like showing relations between an average generating current at the time the fuel cell 11 continues power generation in a state that a first valve 14 or a second valve 15 is closed and a threshold value of the amount of pressure change, as a lower limit threshold value of hydrogen pressure against the elapse of time in advance, and continues power generation of the fuel cell 11 in a state of outputting a command of opening the first valve 14 or the second valve 15. When the detected hydrogen pressure against the elapse of time is below the threshold value of the amount of pressure change calculated by a table search, the first valve 14 or the second valve 15 is judged to be in an open state. The control device 20 corrects the threshold value of the amount of pressure change according to accumulated time, within which a purge valve 18 is in a state of being opened, based on a command directing a valve opening degree of a purge valve 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
