PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector realizing the reduction of the number of parts and miniaturization by integrating an optical engine unit and a lamp unit. SOLUTION: The projector includes an optical engine unit 30, a lamp unit 20 and a coupling member 40 for coupling the units 30 and 20 integrally. Since the units 30 and 20 are integrated by the member 40, the projector is provided as a low-priced product which is miniaturized and whose number of parts is reduced.
