PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MI (magnetic impedance) sensor, having high sensitivity and being capable of being miniaturized, an MI sensor IC chip, and an electronic device having the MI sensor. SOLUTION: In the MI sensor IC chip 13, to which the uniaxial MI element 12 is connected, an electrode 16 for excitation current connected to the MI element 12 is disposed near a side AB of the IC chip facing the MI element 12. A power supply electrode 18A, for supplying a power supply voltage to a switching circuit 24, is disposed near a side CD facing the side.
