PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide estimation algorithm of a new intake pipe pressure value for compensating an increased delay and the wasted time without generating over-chute and discontinuity of an estimation value of the intake pipe pressure value. SOLUTION: This method of estimating the intake pipe pressure comprises a step of obtaining a differenceΔPB of the intake pipe pressure values and a differenceΔTH of throttle valve opening values, a step of obtaining an estimation differenceΔFZPB of the intake pipe pressure with fuzzy estimation algorithm containing a fuzzy rule determined on the basis of size of the difference of the intake pipe pressure and size of the difference of the throttle valve opening values, and a step of obtaining an estimation value of the intake air pressure by adding the intake pipe pressure value PB to the estimation difference value of the intake pipe pressure.
