PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator improved in responsiveness in relation to turn-on/off of a power source. SOLUTION: An actuator main body 1 is formed from a shape memorial alloy raw material and formed into an extensible cylindrical shape, and bias is given to shrink in the axial direction and to expand in the radial direction when the actuator main body 1 is heated at a deformable point or more and to draw in the axial direction and to shrink in the radial direction at a temperature less than the deformable point. A heat sink 2 is provided with a sink main body 2a, which is to be inserted into the actuator main body 1, in one end thereof and a heat radiation fin 2b in the other end thereof. When the actuator main body 1 is electrified by a control power source 3, the actuator main body 1 is heated to shrink in the axial direction, and when electrifying is stopped, the actuator main body 1 radiates the heat, and draws in the axial direction and while shrinks in the radial direction, and adheres to the sink main body 2a, and the heat is radiated through the heat sink 2, and the actuator main body 1 is thereby drawn with excellent responsiveness.
