PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair reshaping treatment preparation, a hair reshaping treatment setting preparation and a method of hair reshaping treatment, capable of improving hair touch and hair wave sustainability. SOLUTION: The hair reshaping treatment preparation comprises (a) a copolymer of cystine and a silicone, (b) a solvent and (c) a high-molecular compound other than the component(a). The hair reshaping treatment setting preparation is composed of a 1st agent comprising the components(a), (b) and (c) and a 2nd agent comprising a protein astringent. The method for hair reshaping treatment comprises applying the 1st agent to the hair followed by applying the 2nd agent. It is preferable that the hair reshaping treatment preparation or the 1st agent of the hair reshaping treatment setting preparation contain at least one substance selected from (d) a reducing agent and (e) a protein-denaturating agent which preferably contains at least one compound selected from urea and guanidine hydrochloride.
