METHOD FOR MEASURING ADJACENT BASE STATION SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method for measuring an adjacent base station signal is provided to remove an output of a current base station from a total of base station signals measured in an LMU(Location Measurement Unit), thereby measuring signals only from adjacent base stations without deteriorating donwlink performance. CONSTITUTION: A base station comprises as follows. A base station modem(100) generates a downlink digital signal(Sd(t)). The downlink digital signal(Sd(t)) is outputted from the base station modem(100). An IF processor(110) converts the digital signal into a deliverable wireless signal. An LMU comprises as follows. An LMU functional unit(140) performs a measurement process. An IF processor(150) receives signals of base stations. The base station can transmit the original downlink digital signal(Sd(t)) before converting into the wireless signal.
