PURPOSE: A crack detecting device of a tire is provided to prevent accidents from breakage of the tire by detecting crack in the tire with an acoustic sensor and alarming the crack during traveling. CONSTITUTION: An acoustic sensor(5) is attached to a bonding part of a belt part(2) of a tire and a carcass of a bead part(3) in a crack detecting device. The acoustic sensor is connected through a preamplifier(6) to an analog processing unit(7) installed in a driver's seat, and the analog processing unit is connected to a digital processing unit(9) connected to a data storage unit(8). The digital processing unit is connected to a digital output unit(10), and signals are displayed on the digital output unit in detecting crack on the tire. The acoustic sensor transmits signals through the preamplifier and the analog processing unit to the digital processing unit in detecting sound from the tire, and the digital process unit outputs data by comparing the reference sound with the acoustic signal.
