<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compatibility with a transfer system of data writing by conventional a two beam laser diode to allow reduction of an apparatus cost. <P>SOLUTION: A free run counter 42 in a PMSYNC generating circuit counts up a clock input of a transfer clock 40, outputs the count to a comparator 43, and inputs a BDI signal 41 to a clear terminal to reset the counter output to "0". The comparator 43 compares comparison data 1 with comparison data 2 of a one line period setting section 44, generates a BD2' signal when matched, and generates a PMSYNC signal which is a logical OR signal of the BD1 signal and the BD2' signal in an AND circuit 45. Thus, a timing signal similar to a printer of a 1 beam writing system is generated to allow DATA transfer compatible with conventional ones without increasing the number of DATA transfer lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
