<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing material which enables the monitoring of the proximity of a part where a needle, or the like, is inserted without removing the dressing material and secures the needle, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The dressing material for securing a penetrating member such as the needle and protecting and monitoring the insertion part comprises a transparent or opaque film part 1 and a virtually triangular sheet part 8 including a base and a pair of hypotenuses. The sheet part 8 has a folded part 3 surrounded by the base and a pair of cuts 41, 42 because of the cuts 41, 42 formed inside each of the hypotenuses on the sheet 8 and strip-shaped parts 2a, 2b outside the folded part 3. The film part is joined to one of the strip-shaped parts 2a, 2b, at one side, and an adhesive is applied to one of the surfaces of the film part 1 and the sheet part 8. The folded part 3 is folded and fixed to the skin by the adhesive, and the strip-shaped parts 2a, 2b are folded. The dressing material is used to cover a penetrating member 10 placed on the sheet part 8 with the film part 1 and strip-shaped parts 2a, 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
