<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment and an information acquisition system for referring to location-related contents corresponding to a location except for a communicable area. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to contents predicted to be referred to with a movement based upon a present location, a moving direction and a moving speed of a terminal, it is inquired to a communication area management part whether or not a related location is within a communication area and when it is outside the communication area, one or more communication parts each having a communicable line quality are selected. The selected communication parts are used for acquiring in advance and storing the contents predicted to be referred to.
